What is lashing to me?

Lashing is more than just beauty.

Lashing helped contribute to my life, allowing me to grow and become the woman I'm supposed to be.

Every season of my life has taught me a new level of patience.

It teaches you how to flow evenly without getting lost in the waves.

Through the hiccups and minor issues of things that were never meant to be actually 'becoming' and challenging your work ethic through the process; this alone teaches you when to pivot.

How to bring life back to what you once thought was dead.

It teaches you how to make the most of what you put your name behind and represent...

...to get everything you came for.

To cover all of your bases because in the end someone will and they may not be as graceful with it in their hands as you are.

Thus causing damage to whatever it is you nurtured with your own heart out of love to shrivel up and take a turn for the worse before being delivered back to you.

Everything about lashing can help shape who you become if you view it from that aspect. 

Like a lot of people , I've been tested in the patience area for a good portion of my life, lol, so doing lashes has taught me what chess teaches others.

It takes strategy and if not done correctly it will show.
